David has more than 25 years of professional real estate experience. This experience includes real estate development and investing activities as a principal as well as brokerage activities involving sales and leasing. David has been involved in the acquisition and development of numerous real estate projects, including single-family development, home-building, multifamily, retail, office, and industrial projects. Prior to his career in real estate, David was a founding partner in a start-up marketing company that manufactured and distributed licensed NASCAR memorabilia and apparel to the convenience, grocery, and drug store channels. In the late 90’s, after tremendous growth, David and his partner sold their company to a publicly traded national distribution company. Following the sale David began developing and investing in commercial real estate. In 2003, David formed BCB Investments, LLC, a real estate brokerage firm focused on investment sales and leasing in various markets in North Carolina, with a particular emphasis on the Charlotte/Lake Norman area, but also serving the Triad and Triangle markets as well. David has particular expertise and experience identifying under-valued investment opportunities and turning around under-performing properties. David has a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from East Carolina University and holds a North Carolina & South Carolina Real Estate License. David is a member of Certified Commercial Investment Members (CCIM). David is a member of The Charlotte Regional Board of Realtors, the NC Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.

Shane has over 28 years of professional real estate experience and extensive knowledge in developing and redeveloping various property types including single family residential, multifamily residential, office and retail. Prior to joining NorthState Capital Partners, Seagle was co-founder and Managing Partner of CitiSculpt, Southern Apartment Group, and Property Advocate Services in Charlotte, NC and was directly responsible for the overall success of the acquisition, planning, entitlement, design, financing and construction of all real estate developments. Seagle has developed more than 6,300 single family and multifamily units throughout the Carolinas. Seagle holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) and a Master of Science in Real Estate Development & Finance (MSRE) from UNC Charlotte. Seagle is also a Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in North Carolina (2001-Present), and in 2006, received Charlotte Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” Award. Seagle currently serves on the Board of Directors for YMCA Denver, and is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), Greater Charlotte Apartment Association (GCAA) and Home Builders Association of Greater Charlotte (HBAC).

Shane has more than 25 years of professional real estate and investment experience. Since forming NorthState, Shane has been involved in the acquisition and development of numerous real estate projects, including single-family development, home-building, multifamily, retail, and office projects. Prior to forming NorthState, Shane was Vice President and Senior Investment Analyst for Wells Capital Management, the asset management division of Wells Fargo, where he was responsible for the analysis and selection of various fixed income investments in the real estate sector, including Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), Home Building, and Construction and Building Materials & Products. Prior responsibilities include the ongoing analysis and selection of investments in various industries, which included analyzing and valuing the underlying real estate of publicly traded companies in the evaluation and selection of potential buyout candidates, participating in structured financing deals secured by real estate leases, and analyzing publicly traded real estate services companies. Shane’s investment opinions have been cited in The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, Bloomberg News, Dow Jones Newswires, as well as other publications. Shane holds a BS in Finance from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, and is a licensed commercial real estate broker. Shane is a member of the CFA North Carolina Society and a member of the CFA Institute.

Wyatt manages the acquisitions, entitlements, and development of projects. Prior to joining North State Development, he worked at Batson-Cook Construction on the construction of Charlotte's First National Bank Tower. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and a Master of Science in Real Estate Development & Finance (MSRE) from UNC-Charlotte. He currently serves on the UNC-Charlotte Alumni of the Center for Real Estate (ACRE) Board which focuses on assisting with engagement, outreach, community service, fundraising, diversity and inclusion, and events for the Childress Klein Center for Real Estate at UNC-Charlotte.

Justin has worked in the real estate industry since 2012. Responsible for all project aspects, including land acquisition, construction, close out, and asset management, he oversees multi-family and mixed use developments. He graduated in 2015 from Clemson and earned a Masters in Real Estate and Development from Georgetown University.

Katherine is responsible for new starts (permits, approvals, preparation, etc.) and managing all closings. She graduated in 2010 with a BS in Business Administration from Bluefield College. Katherine cheers for WVU and enjoys DIY projects at home as well as cooking and yoga.

Angela is responsible for all accounting matters including financial reporting, general accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll. She has been in the accounting field for 27 years and has been with the company for 8 years. Her husband and two dogs reside in Davidson. Spending time with family and friends is Angela's favorite thing to do.

Mark joined the company in 2023 with over 30 years of experience and is responsible for all accounting functions including accounts payable, ledger, banking, budgeting, taxes, and payroll. He is originally from upstate NY and has a wife and two sons. Mark was awarded the 2020 Volunteer of the Year by Governor Roy Cooper! He enjoys time with family, the mountains and being outdoors.

Lacey re-joined North State Development in 2023, after previously working with the Team for 10 years. After taking time to be with family, Lacey returned as Property Manager for commercial properties managing over 40 tenants. She also facilitates the development process for design. She has a passion for home design and decor. Lacey attended UNCC, and enjoys traveling, spending time on the Lake with family and friends, and of course, shopping!

Kim joined the company in 2022. She is responsible for marketing, signage, promotions, special events, and website. She has a Marketing and Design degree from Appalachian State University and is Color Marketing Group certified. Her favorite things to do are cooking, shopping, travelling with her family, and cheering on the Clemson Tigers!
